  Just as weird as I expected but way more in your face. I wanted to love this but I think there was too many threads going on and so it tended to feel jumbled at times. When I was reading initial preview thoughts the main theme I saw was about exploitation under capitalism and while that’s obviously here the theme I resonated with most was the power of love and its transformative nature. Being loved for all versions of yourself, seen in this movie literally. Just really touched me.

  There’s a couple very affecting parts of this movie. I know you want to have prison pieces include the humanity of the people, but still it’s always nice to see. Some genuinely affecting moments at the end. I’m not a marathon runner, I’m just a marathon husband, but the mental fortitude to run an entire marathon on a curvy track inside a prison is absolutely fucking insane. Superhuman dedication

  If people say this movie has better character development than the original then they are an absolute simpleminded idiot. This movie has some of the most hamfisted character moments. Moreover, they quite simply don’t understand these characters it is so obvious. This movie is not only bad, maybe just as bad as the first, but it is 4 HOURS LONG NOTHING SHOULD BE THIS LONG
