I'd say this movie is the best Scorsese's movie i have ever watch. The whole story brought us into the dark story of the Osage confrontation with the oil businessmen (white men).
I like it when the Osage tribes delivering more intimacy with their god and the nature despite their conflict which makes goosebumps to me.
Even there are any problems in our life, the only thing that we could do is to pray, to give it all to the God. Despite the hardships that we could face in the future.
Good visualization, bad execution. Not engaging for all audiences. So many symbol inside this movie that we really need to have attention in every single detail of the movie. That could brought us to understand the whole story.
I really like how the film had a decent change the 90s and 00s vibes with its property and realistically brought us into that time. But the film just poorly executed, because of its plot is too rushing to bring romantic emotion between these two main characters. In the end of the film give us a emotional scene that really match with the song, Fix You by Coldplay.
Film yang menurutku gak biasa, bisa dikatakan lebih dari kata itu. Menceritakan tentang seorang anak muda, Arvin, yang berusaha melindungi keluarganya dari kebrutalan yang dilakukan orang-orang sekitar yang begitu keji memperlakukan orang lain.
Sempat dibuat bingung terdapat beberapa bagian cerita yang berbeda penokohan, tetapi masing-masing menunjukkan karakter yang kuat bagi setiap tokoh, bahkan untuk figuran pun cukup rata pembagiannya. Jadi kita bisa mengetahui siapakah mereka sebenarnya. Ternyata seluruh kejadian keji itu masih terdapat hubungannya satu sama lain.
