  Despite the long runtime, it kept me engaged for most of it. While it was a tale of exploitation and the dark side of Hollywood, it was also a celebration of film and how far movie making has come. My only issue is that there wasn’t a ton of story considering it was 3 hours, which caused some points to drag on. I wish I had known some extra background on who the characters were based on going into it, because I probably would have enjoyed it even more.
