I watched this film due to the fact that I’m going to Italy over Spring break and because of the current condition of the pope.
I was surprised that I enjoyed a movie about popes so much. This film kept my attention the entire time and I thought the different turns in the story were well done. This film is obviously a dramatization, however, it makes me want to know more about conclaves and about how much drama there actually is within them.
Overall a very interesting film!
“No cheese, Gromit! Not a bit in the house!”
I want some moon cheese now.
Deep down I’ve always wanted to be like Wallace and Gromit. Who doesn’t want to have a cutesy picnic with some fresh cheese on the moon with their best pal/pooch? It’s honestly a dream come true.
Cesare is an icon.
I really loved the set design because it gave the film an almost theatrical feel. Overall, it was cool to see where all these different ideas that are still relevant today originated from.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I’ve watched this movie more times than I would like to admit.
Everything about this is pure perfection (yes even when Katniss is lifted into the air while wearing 20 pounds of highlighter)
I can’t write a review on this movie without mentioning my number one from day one Finnick Odair.
Peta is honestly an icon in this movie. (I’m sorry I was ever team Gale)
RIP Cinna. Gone but never forgotten. Without you, there would be no Mockingjay.
