I saw this as part of the remaster in 2024, so opinions will be partly of that:
Yes, the AI upscale artifacting is obvious. Moreso when there's small details in the background, especially during movement. It's not as unwatchable as reddit made it out to be, but there's a significant amount of small blurs and inconsistencies throughout that you definitely notice.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023

I laughed, I cried, the Spidermen all pointed at each other.
Animation was such a right way to do this, the film is visually stunning, and even a step up from part 1. The story really kept me in and I didn't get my usual theatre-sore-ass at the 2hr mark. I was bummed when it finished because it seemed like we were heading for a conclusion, but that does leave us lots to watch in Part 3.
