Gut wrenching. Disgusting. Absolutely sick. And a much MUCH needed masterpiece about misogyny, radicalisation of teen boys, and incel culture.
Each of the four episodes are filmed in one take. Absolutely stunning camerawork. That alone should win some technical awards. Forces you to stay with the characters, to see and feel their emotions and what they’re going though, conveying the harsh reality that they’re forced to face.

The reasons why this movie is so critically acclaimed and highly rated are A Complete Unknown to me. The only movie in this Oscar season to bore me more was The Brutalist.
The whole movie is just Bob Dylan mumbling and being mopey for 2.5 hours. Timothee’s acting doesn’t seem like 5.5 years of his life. It was decent, but it wasn’t that great. I appreciate that he actually sang though.
