  this was not the freaky body horror movie that i was expecting, but whatever this was i really enjoyed it. i thought the commentary on womanhood and motherhood was super realistic, and not only did i feel a deep connection to the mother, i could see all of the women and mothers in my own life within her. im emotional and need to give my mum a hug.

  THIS!!!! this is the gothic vampire story i wanted!!! i know it practically follows the story of dracula as written by bram stoker, but it gave so much more ! when i read and also watched dracula i was so underwhelmed- the story has so much potential but neither book nor film managed to capture that. i was left hungry for more ((🦷🩸)), and this movie absolutely SATIATED me. i could rewatch this a million times and never get bored. i love!
