The Bridges of Madison County 1995
One of my all time favourite movies. The story line is a simple one about an ordinary life. Meryl Streep in her finest role. The cinematography is beautiful. A bittersweet love story I have rewatched over the years ,and it still gets me every time.

The Shining 1980
I read the book by Stephen King and have watched the movie by Stanley Kubrick many times, recently with a friend who hadn’t seen it before. Jack Nicholson gives a tremendous performance as a man, who is prone to alcoholism and violence, descending into madness in isolation and Shelley Duval is captivating as his wife.My favourite character is Danny , played by Danny Lloyd who was 5 years old at the time. The Shining is now over 40 years old and still one of my favourite movie’s.
