it shouldn't have been possible to make a film called this with zero redeeming factors lol. do not watch this expecting it to be worthwhile/to have cute moments because there's a dog in the title.

the art and animation in this is really nice and there's a lot of cute moments but the plot and its resolution especially are so unserious given the subject matter (divorce). it feels like they changed what kind of movie they were making at the last minute, they should have just cut it before the third act and left it as a slice of life if they couldn't commit to a melancholy ending lol.
