  My favorite in the series of Maya Deren films screened at Image Forum (Shibuya, Tokyo) on 2-25-25. My introduction to her work. Anaïs Nin on screen!!!! a real treat all around.

  Very of the times. A classic 70s “men doing the bare minimum but it doesn’t matter because they’re a ‘sight for sore eyes’” film. Some really funny moments that I genuinely enjoyed.  Wallace Shawn severely under utilized. Love austin Pendleton too. Some great performances and apparently young Kevin bacon is in this but I missed it. Burt forever.
