wow. wow. wow.
This movie absolutely blew me away. It broke my heart in a million different ways. My childhood was not very similar to what was portrayed yet, I saw myself in Mason time and time again. I can’t describe the way (specifically the first half of) the movie made me feel. No movie has ever made me feel so connected back to my upbringing. I sobbed my way thru this one truly. This movie was beautiful and the concept was brilliant. Five stars because no movie has ever made me feel the way this one did.
