Its such a great expression of the time they were living in and of facism. It manages to lure you into these characters lives and make you feel what theyre going through. Also the way emcee symbolises the looming horrors that are coming their way making it impossible to forget whats going on in the world around them is amazing. Him always being there, saying what they cant, what they dont even know yet and showing how society views the situations theyre in is so good.
