One of the few instances where the movie itself was not "so terrible" and "unwatchable" as many said, but was severely hurt due to the marketing. The big "reveal" was ruined months before the movie came out. I like to review movies from start to finish exclusively but can't help but factor in that the whole movie builds up to something we've known about since its inception.

From within the movie, I thought it was inoffensive. Couple of beats and…

Paint by numbers children's movie--which isn't necessarily an issue. And a lovely story about what it means to be a parent and the sacrifices that parents make for their children. I really enjoyed it. Didn't WOW me and the animation was fine. Its a good movie. Not a great movie. And thats okay

It's such a classic. The pirates are infinitely rewatchable for me. It's fun to look back having seen where all these characters eventually go and this is what started it all, is cool. A theme park ride, btw

Tashi Duncan is MESSY messy. But to be fair, she never said she wasn't. A very good movie that tells a familiar tale of two best friends and the wedge between them. I thought Zendaya crushed it (Horny and Apathetic--a dream woman, some would say) and the two that played Art & Zweig had what felt to be genuine chemistry. Movie looks great. Little all over the place w/ some of the camera choices and styles. The score IS phenomenal and should be in the oscars. It does get a little excessive towards the end. Had it an 80/81 BUT I absolutely DESPISED the ending.
