I am so biased toward books that I think I need to re-evaluate how I rate them on goodreads. What a work of digital and public humanities wow. Recently realized whatever I do has to involve writing and language and this really hammered the nail in the coffin, especially since my viewing was preceded by a trip to the museum of literature. Language is as much a human construction as history and literature are (and other humanities), so it’s embedded with the same biases, beliefs, hopes, and messages as historical narratives and the literary canon.
