As far as the singing, I was surprised by how good it was—perfect for the purposes of the storytelling. The film was visually stunning, and the costumes were gorgeous.
The pacing wasn’t great. It was rather slow in my opinion. I wanted more content about her life and less of her staring into a mirror.
The end made me boohoo cry. Overall, the movie is classical singer approved and I enjoyed it (even though it totally feels like Oscar bait)
