  it’s the way i cried most of the end of the movie. the way josh hutcherson was processing grief happening around him made me sob. sucked his parents only cared about him after tragedy struck.

  i have no words i’m still processing this movie. cry count lost count. maybe 6 or something. this is such a painfully raw and intimate coming-of-age film that represents growing up chinese and asian so well. the normalities, the society, the family dynamics. 

  okay but now that we have 弟弟 i need 姐姐 so i can cry through the whole fuckin movie

  its definitely a holiday film, its giving hot chocolate vibes (can confirm we did have hot chocolate although i had white chocolate)

  funny to see these characters interact cuz i’ve seen them all in very different movies and interacting together was sweet. cuties and good!
