Wolf Man 2025

So light a watch its easy to forgive its shortcomings. He’s not doing enough, and Ive never found him to be a full strength filmmaker, but this brings just enough artistry to win me over. I feel pretty good about it.
The Killer 2024

The new tv movie remake of The Killer still has some magic, and even some real blood! That real blood is kind of old school funnily enough, and the score also feels pretty classic. When it all comes together it can really put a big smile on your face.

Seems like this is considered mid to low tier Shyamalan but man I was really swept up in it. Strong cinematography, nice music, my man William Hurt acting up a storm. Really dig how MNS shoots his melodrama here.. Loved it.

Guillermo is such a passionate and earnest filmmaker, which makes it kind of baffling how phony the intro with Gepetto and son is, and it doesnt really stop there. As much respect as he seems to have for animation, he still seems to treat it as something for babies, something that needs to be dumbed down and filled with obligatory musical numbers.
