Was this film needed? No. Was it worth it? Maybe. If the “twist” of who the main character is was not put in the trailers, it would be a better film. Historically, a bit more accurate (graffiti!) but still a lot of issues there. But overall, a decent film that tried its best to be a worthy follow up to the original that just fell short.

If the point of this film was to beat you over the head with every rom com cliche ever, with added N*zi and grandma sex jokes, it succeeded.
As an actual film, it was almost as painful as having your teeth pulled out.
