The writing was so much shittier than the first movie. Felt like they took all of the bad opportunities for adapt the script resulting in the writing feeling so extremely cheesy and YA. Tension was built amazingly from the rampant fast cuts, pinning characters, and Jennifer Lawrence's great performance.
It's funny because in my eyes I absolutely asosciate this movie with high school because it's so directly thematical and literary, in it being adapted from the book.
