We were inspired to watch this movie after Ashton had Read about the production of the film in Bob Igers biography. The movie was fantastic. While the concept of a rat as a chef in a top class kitchen in Paris seems absurd, the production team captured this concept in a playful light while delivering impressive cinematic experiences including Remi dancing around the restaurant in attempt to hide from all the different workers and an enjoyable scene where hundreds of rats prepared ratatouille. Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Five stars.
We really liked this movie. I don’t know why they were so mean about Bruges as I think it looked quite nice. Colin Farrells character was a bit of a grump but we still liked him and it was cool seeing Chuck from Gossip Girls girlfriend in the movie too. Ken was also a leg for saving Ray.
We didn’t get all the marvel references and also there is a lot of fighting going on which seems pointless given that both of them regenerate — but it was still enjoyable and made me giggle softly at times.
Claudia gives it 5/5, Ashton gives it 3.5/5 (too many silly story lines). Merry Xmas xxx
