  Im afghan. A woman. And a muslim.
  I have conflicting thoughts on this movie:
  the story in itself is a worthy story, its saddening and it breaks my heart to know that this story has been, is and will continue to be someones future over there. But, and its a small but, i feel like this narrative and potrayel of muslim women in Afghanistan has a problematic tone to it.

  I watched this in high school thanks to my super cool teacher. Its an important movie that still highly relevant unfortunately.
  I recommend everyone to watch it; even though your not muslim, egyptian or know arabic.
  Find a version with english subtitles and watch how these women seek justice and band togheter against a faulty system.

  Feels like a documentary. Its also tackles issues like consent, age gap, drugs, hiv and alcohol abuse. Its not for everyone; but its worth a watch. Even if your gonna hate the move afterwards.
