Gotta say, was quite surprised to see this film rated 2.2 stars on here. I gotta heavily disagree. Ben Affleck is an amazing Daredevil, as is Colin Ferrel as Bullseye and the same goes for the Kingpin and Elektra performances. This film is a really good and respectful representation of Daredevil (outside of Matt learning how to be super fit and an insane fighter all by himself nah I'm not buying that bit we should've had…
We're vibing in sunny Rio....not for long! Following a family that's so lovable as they face trials and tribulations far from their control. Searching for a semblance of regular life throughout the overbearing pain.
Ah yes the Gorge (not Anya, even though we all know she is gorge). Also another Anya film that suddenly turns horror(that's 3 now!) I quite liked the romance and love build-up. The landscapes and set design are inspired and cool to look at. Why is this scarier than Nosferatu 🤨. Also we've got Sigourney Weaver back up in here! I liked the ending, living happily ever after with Anya (the dream). A sweet way to wrap up a sweet Valentines.
Tried it out last night whilst I was procrastinating from my watchlist and man oh man did I stumble on an absolute gem! I fell in love with it very early on in the film and it takes an interesting route around friendship break-ups which makes it so comedic yet grim at times too. Loved the characters and the scenery. I really felt immersed in Inisherin and it felt like I was living there too
