i’m too brain dead right now for a proper review but this film was great! the perfect mix of funny and heartfelt. i was lucky enough to see it six days before it’s uk release at the bfi and sit through a q and a session with reggie yates and some of the cast, all of whom were wonderful and seemed like really great people. definitely go see it if you can!!

i walked into the cinema planning on watching a documentary and mysteriously walked out with a picturehouse student membership…
whilst at times it felt like the kind of generic documentary a secondary school teacher who had given up on life would put on to appease their class, i’m a sucker for ravilious and this deepened my understanding/appreciation of him and his art so it’s definitely worth a watch in my book.
