  Very strange but somehow manages to eke out a meaning from the disjointed pieces they managed to get as their original intent for the film shifted from realism to surrealism, in the face of the kinds of complications that often cause large shifts in our lives.  Their man they intended to focus on died, so they found another way to honor him.

  I think the musical numbers were innovative, interesting.  I agree with a lot of the complaints I’ve heard from Mexican viewers.  It feels like Oscar bait.

  It feels like someone took a few headlines from the last few years - lockdown, smart speaker recording, protestors thrown in unmarked vans - and cobbled together a plot around those.  It’s not bad it just doesn’t feel overly purposeful.
