As someone who often times struggle with articulating my thoughts and emotions, this film deeply resonated with me. I felt seen and validated. Truly, the power of language lies beyond the words we say. The capacity to understand even in the absence of words is so rare and this can only be found where genuine emotional connections are cultivated. To me, this is what Jamie and Makoto had. Despite the fleeting encounter they had, they have built a depth of connection that only them can fathom.
