Lots to like, very silly and funny and I really enjoyed the world. A pretty by-the-book psychological horror film. The titular stop motion is amazing, but the story is somewhat lacking and Ella is not a very convincing or interesting character. The mother/daughter stuff is a big too on-the-nose and not really developed enough. No shade though, it kept my attention throughout and despite mostly boring writing the performances are good, especially the little girl!
