Scream has had a long history of being meta, and this time it’s simply over done. They point out everything that will happen in the movie and follow it to a tee. Not to mention, the only bright spot in this movie acting wise is Jenna Ortega and Dylan Minette, the latter of which is murdered early in the movie. With idiotic pop culture references, the movie just feels like it was made by people who don’t care about the integrity of the franchise and are extremely out of touch. They need to stop making Scream movies
