A stunning film, a beautiful story, the ancestors, the history. I could have watched this when I was the age of the younger man, I wonder how I would have heard it back then?

Not a biopic person and this does seem to be largely fictionalised, but it makes for a nice movie about the ultimate wife guy.

Okay listen hear me out. This film is bad, it's incomplete, it's a mess, but I'm unfortunately obsessed with it. Something about it just sticks in my brain, the few special effects that were actually realised but also the way the obvious holes in the runtime somehow make some of the moments hit all that much harder. Soundtrack is incredible, some great weird performances, will live in my heart forever.

Delightful little bit of ghoulish fun. Just barely a fair play mystery with great performances all around. Especially liked the little opening monologues.
