holy shit. what is there to say about this movie that hasn't been said. there is so many things you can dissect within even just the last 30 minutes and you would make a 10 page long essay about it. the shots are so beautifully done, the sfx and soundtrack, the surrealism. if i wasnt already truly embracing myself like i havent before in the past, holy shit this wouldnt have cracked the egg. it would have disintergrated it.

The Lighthouse 2019
the whole movie feels cramped from the start. the moment you arrive into the lighthouse it feels you are just a bystander, watching two men slowly go mad, even before their deadline of work ending. the cinematography is beautifully done, the shots are breathtaking and (most of the times) terrifying. it is nothing like i have ever seen before. slow descent into a man's psyche, trapped by loneliness, and haunted by what came before this
