We didn’t need this. And some of the tender father daughter moments were reminiscent of American Pastoral and I wish the film had focused moreso on that. De Niro’s performance seemed exactly like an impression of De Niro rather than an honest attempt at acting, but I couldn’t not see De Niro looking like Danny Devito.
Could have easily taken up less time in my life. Fucker Scorsesame.
