  Well-crafted, but bland.

  The whole cast shines throughout but for what?

  I feel like the movie:
  1) is not funny enough to be considered a comedy
  2) doesn't offer deep or even cohesive social commentary to be called satire
  3) is pretty predictable to be a good thriller

  It had the ingredients, it was shot beautifully, performed well, but just missed the mark for me.

  Quirky, energetic and fun, this is probably my favourite Edgar Wright movie. Great visuals, amazing cinematography, killer soundtrack, and really quotable dialogues.

  And to that, add video game - comic book aesthetics. And sounds from popular games? And visuals that almost make it seem like it was from a psychdelic fever dream? Of course you have the recipe to a great comedy!

  Glorious. Gorgeous. Greta is a genius.

  I LOVED the movie. But before I start talking about the movie I want to say this. Barbie (2023) is not just a movie. It is so much more.

  It's this experience, it's this event. It was cool seeing so many people in pink. I loved that so many people were sorta celebrating "Barbie Day" with their little photo shoots, spending time dressing up, the whole shebang. I…
