The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
Very cute movie. Definitely aimed towards children so don't expect Puss and Boots level quality or anything. Kids will love it and it you like Mario, you'll get something out of it. It's an illumination movie 100%
It was very pretty to watch and the way they incorporated original Mario music got to me.
Could do without the licensed music.

Skinamarink 2022
It's an experience more than it is a movie.
Skinamarink sits you down and preys on anxieties and fears you had as a child and fills you with nothing but apprehension and dread. That is the film summed up in the most literal way.
It's not for everyone. You'll either love this movie or absolutely hate it. My only complaint is that a few of the jumpscares ruined the atmosphere of the movie. The threat of jumpscares is a lot more potent than the actual scare itself.
Best line in the movie is when the Skinamarink says, "It's me, Skinamarink! I'm gonna Skinamarink you!"

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
It's a purrfect movie
The animation was beautiful and all the characters were top notch. A lil bit of that Shrek edginess makes the movie hilarious.
Can't praise it enough.
I could believe that John Mulaney doesn't see the value of a human life with how good his performance was.
