I hate to say it, but I went in with high expectations from having crushed the book in less than two days this week, and this didn’t fully deliver. I’m not out here saying that books are always better (movies can do a lot of cool shit that books can’t), but in this instance they really would have benefitted from staying closer to the text. There were too many plot lines that didn’t need to be there, particularly Mark Ruffalo…
