Setting aside of the 70s-ness of it all. I thoroughly enjoyed this suped up Columbo without Columbo. It is absolutely savage in a way you don't see anymore, with tons of lethal one liners. Happy to watch a grown ass adult movie with the tightest logic, feel like I got some brain cells back.

I should've known better, in terms of what kind of bad movie this is, when the film started off with the quote: "I think, therefore I am" - Descartes.

At least I got to hear The Cardigans' Erase and Rewind over the end credits 🤗

Sitting here listening to my bf go off on if he had this power he would stop 9/11 (and procced to lay out a VERY detailed plan) And I am like this girl can barely kiss a boy under mistletoe - you think she has capacity for that???

I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and I think that's point. The dread is key. This film really shows how the mundane micro toxicity of this world slowly erodes the soul. Shaving off thin slivers of dignity over time, so that you become, and are encouraged to be, desensitized to your surroundings. It is also unhurried, so if that's not your thing this may not be for you. Truly the inverse of Bombshell in a good way.
