The initial premise was a bit more my style than Killers of the Flower Moon despite essentially being another 3 hours of straight murders. The length and depth of the film’s coverage felt a bit more warranted this time spanning his entire lifetime. The editing had faster cuts for comedy and such which also helped the length feel shorter.
When I thought I would be a bit tired of murdering and courtroom justice, the ending turned around my feelings.
Despite the well-made ending, I still feel so much more could have been done when stacked against the other 3 hours of the movie.

I don’t think I understand this movie. I was very drawn towards it by the high appraise I saw everywhere, but I don’t fundamentally understand the meaning much less the execution.
Is it a romance to say love persists through losing their memories? A lesson to not give up on a relationship? Is it even heartbreaking?
