  This was a true romp, and I’m so glad I came into it without knowing anything about it!!! Definitely much more heavy handed and on the nose than Parasite, but that didn’t stop it from being super fun to watch. Rob Pattinson stole (and saved) the show and was so fun and tender to watch. This reallyyy fell off at the end though: too much happening and not done well enough I fear. I loved the little beetles they were so cute. In sum: crazy (positive)

  I watched this for the first time with my mom before going to Paris on a school trip freshman year of high school, and I remembered loving it. Now on my return, this is just poorly written I fear. I love the concept (time travel-ish) and the moral (the inevitable golden age-ification of the past even in the iconic present) but the script is just so terrible (shoutout to Djuna Barnes “No wonder she wanted to lead!” bit though, that…
