A Complete Unknown 2024
Timothee Chalamet turns in frankly one of the most Oscar worthy performances in recent memory. However, this movie suffers from the same pitfall as almost every other music biopic: it falls short of authenticity. It shows us WHAT Bob Dylan was, it told us some of Dylan's lies, but it draws the line before telling the truth.
If we wanted to hear Timothee do a great Bob Dylan impression, he would've made a cover album. A movie is at its most beautiful when it's at it's most vulnerable, and it feels like every scene in this movie cuts away just before it gets vulnerable.Translated from by

If you believe a movie is the culmination of a lot of people, then a movie can't be perfect, because people can't be perfect. But if you, like me, think movies are something a lil bit more than any of the people involved, then a movie can be perfect. Either way, this movie is as close to perfect as a movie can be. Would've been a little closer to perfect if that gym teacher had more lines.
