i have never seen a film fall from grace quicker. in less than ten minutes we are left with four of the most boring characters (I don't even know one of the girls name, AND the only reason I know the guys names is because they LITERALLY STOP during the movie to point out none of us know his name). The film passes on any cohesive story in order to pay off 90s nostalgia. Its gets to a point where the film doesn't even know what it is anymore past that.

sometimes a film doesn't have to change your life, it's okay to be fulfilled whilst the American action hero runs away from the bad guys that shoot guns that go pew pew.

Palm Springs is such a freeing, fresh film that combined comedy and romance with great performances and makes me genuinely excited for what other Lonely Island Productions there may be to come.
