Incredible - the imposing figure of the killer (while masked) - really carried the movie. My favorite scenes were any time the killer was on screen as well the news press conference that had a few bystanders in the back.
It was hard for me to take Austin Butler seriously after his “I can’t stop speaking like Elvis” fiasco but I have to say this movie has convinced he’s got the chops. His Stellan skarsgard impression was uncanny. Amazing visuals, it didn’t feel long at all and I enjoyed every second of it. Every single actor nailed their role and it goes without saying the visuals were spectacular.
If I had one nit to pick, it’s the shame I felt…
