I often found myself wishing that James Gunn will take some notes here and lean into the fully unbridled silliness of comic books. Names like Psycho-Pirate and Anti-Monitor seem so taboo for live action interpretations. I hope we get those in the new DCU. Would be great to have a fully realized DC Universe. There is so much to tap into.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Two 2024
Now we're starting to cook! I'm sure there are plenty of reasons to be upset with these three films, but I honestly feel like this is a comic coming to life. And it embraces all the ridiculousness of it.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
Whoever edited this movie deserves 1) a raise 2) another raise 3) all the awards. This movie is so wonderfully directed, filmed, and edited. It's the perfect trifecta of watching, and that's just on the technical side. The performances alone would carry this movie if it didn't have all of those other things. Pardon my pun, but this movie literally has everything.
