  The Toxic Avenger 1984

  While it's stunningly beautifull cinematography is unrivaled, the plot is as intelligent as Einstein himself and the renowned actors are so on the top of their game here it's stressing me out! The compelling score really drags you into the narrative and if that's not enough the amazing and masterfully crafted visual effects are skullcrushing bordering genius. Luckily this masterpiece is entirely devoid of camp and the movie takes itself very meticulously serious whilst being historically correct a 100%.
  Now let's see that again!

  Candlewax faced zombi, beachsand in the buttcrack AND mouth. Grungy, wailing synthmusic and slow, excruciating, goopy kills.
  Top that off with screaming naked ladies staying perfectly still while being under attack or going skinny-scubadiving.
  All just a little too sculpted for it to seem real but oh so typically Fulci.
  Can you believe this is the first time i ever saw this?!? (And sheesh, i'm almost 50 yo these days)
  Shame on me.
  Just send me off to an exotic island and have me decapitated with a cross allready.
