I feel like this movie was made to vaguely inform high schoolers about major historical events and figures while keeping their attention. Went into this with the expectation it’d be a funny cheeky kingsman movie which it was at first(?) then it was a downcast sad war drama?? Also not sure if making a Scottish person the villain in a time where there was a WEALTH of irl villains is necessarily politically accurate move but ok. Some good sequences and an entertaining watch but kinda disappointing. Anyways I would’ve also wanted to go to war so bad if my dad pimped me out to Rasputin.

BLUE EYE SAMURAI 2023
This is a phenomenal first season to the show that pays homage to Japans Edo Period history. Animation is beautiful, complex and dynamic. Honestly, Netflix animations can be a hit or miss and I can comfortably say this was a hit. A complex story line with so many elements you won’t be bored at all. 10/10 in my opinion
