The Irishman 2019
The Irishman is 3.5 hours of Scorsese genius. With themes of ageing/regret, it’s not meant to be the thrill ride of Goodfellas and is probably Scorsese’s best since that film. De Niro and Pacino’s best performances in years and Pesci is brilliant on his return to acting. Only Marty makes ‘em like this.
