I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Cool movie— wasn’t digging it until the twist and then thought it was super cool. Great color and cinematography throughout. Friend had to point out how the movie could have represented the trans experience, which I didn’t fully pick up on, but in retrospect totally get. Thought it was subtle, and was well done

Blink Twice 2024
This movie didn’t know whether to take itself seriously or not. For what it’s worth there were a couple cool ideas and scenes in the movie (like some of the allusions to the Odyssey), but the rest of it relied on some very tired cliches. We all know by this point Man=bad, and that rich people island=worse; this movie did little to offer a new interesting perspective.
