Dear Santa 2024
As far as I'm concerned, this should someday be considered a classic in the pantheon of Christmas movies. Jack Black delivers a delightful performance, and his physical comedy is something to be seen (and can't be unseen). All the other actors do their jobs as well, including my arch-nemesis Post Malone, who is inexplicably a joy to behold.

Venom: The Last Dance 2024
Remember how, 20 years ago, Spider-Man was good, Spider-Man 2 was great, and Spider-Man 3 was trash? Sony managed to recreate this with the Venom trilogy. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Pretend Eddie and Venom lived happily ever after at the end of the second film. This movie alternates between boring, stupid, nonsensical, indulgent, and pointless.

St. Elmo's Fire 1985
This movie is awful. I would say it hasn't aged well, but it never was any good to begin with. Horrible, illogical, non-nonsensical writing without a drop of pathos or weight to it, and nary a laugh to be found. No character ever faces any consequences for their actions, either. And that ending... "So, are you still a virgin?"
