Longlegs 2024
There were some confusing plot points and “aesthetic choices” and i was a little underwhelmed by the story (still good). But, overall great movie. The cinematography was “immaculate” and overall feel of the movie was amazing. I love the color choices, nic cage, and the opening of the movie sets up the tone of the movie really nicely which was followed by a color spread of red. Awesome.

Dune: Part Two 2024
I thought the pacing was kinda wack and it was kinda obvious that there were a lot of cut scenes, but overall really great. I was locked in by the third act. Something i felt could improve on the film would be more clarity on the passage of time and more spacing on the time he spent with the fremen so as to make the bond and whole messiah thing more believable. I would watch a 3/4 hour version of this movie.

Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
While it had it’s moments, I felt like the movie had a horrendous pacing most apparent at the start. It stayed true to its predecessor, Ragnarok, with its wacky and zany humor and the act of not taking things too seriously even though some pretty emotional stuff happened to Thor’s character.
