  First half of this movie is fucking hilarious. Honestly like 95% of this movie is a comedy. 

  The daughter is so comically evil she was definitely my favorite #RIP

  Seeing this in IMAX was mad cool I’m stoked for Mickey 17. Kinda odd the director dropped a best picture winner and then didn’t make another film for like 6 years ? Beats me, I guess his new film did get delayed quite a few times.

  Really pretty movie though I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this one. Easy 10/10.

  My first 5/5. I think the Brutalist is the only movie that I would say is objectively on Dune P2’s level/better for 2024 which says a lot because good blockbusters over the past decade are few and far (fuck you Disney), and half of them have been made by Denis.

  To say this was horny feels conservative. Made all the more disturbing by how hideous Count Orlok is. I read an interview where Eggers said he wanted to be faithful to the material and portray him as a full on corpse. 100% the right move to do so. From the mustache to whatever tf Bill Skarsgard is doing with his voice, I thought Orlok was perfect.
     Lily Rose Depp does stuff in this movie that I didn’t know humans…
