There is an absolute mastery involved in making a movie this sexy with very little nudity and no real sex scenes. Every scene and every line of dialogue is dripping with tension, passion, human yearning and longing, and adrenaline. The chemistry between the leads is breathtaking. I also loved the non-linear storytelling, which continually heightened and emphasized the stakes of the events of the film's present day. A great film that is entertaining and draws you in.

Brilliant and beautiful.
I used to like horror movies, but around the time _Saw_ and other "torture porn" flicks took over the genre, I was done. There might be debates about whether this is truly a horror movie, but it is definitely unsettling, shocking and creepy. The scariest part isn't the imagery or action, though, it's the circumstances the main character finds himself in.

Love Lies Bleeding 2024
This is an amazing, visceral thriller. It oozes style and atmosphere, while still having a coherent plot and interesting character development. The real chemistry between Kristen Stewart and Katy O'Brian carries the whole film. While a grounded movie, the touches of surrealism are, in my opinion, welcome and serve to elevate the storytelling. Highly recommended.

The Greatest Night in Pop 2024
Really cool account of the story of "We Are The World", but there's a lack of drama, a lack of tension, that's both the film's strength and weakness at the same time.
