  The most Barbie-esque movie you’ll ever see, but definitely not the one you thought you were going to see.

  What could have been a generic and on-the-nose blockbust turned out to be the most original, feminist and thought-provoking blockbuster of the last 20 years. The story and it’s execution is proof that Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach understood the brand and the idea around it, and the impact of both on womanhood and society as a whole.

  Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2023

  A fun but generic action movie. Definitely one of the best Transformers movie, but that doesn’t mean much.

  Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback were great leads, but the story was lacking. Once again, it’s the story of how to get from point A to point B to get X thing to stop another “world-destroying villain”. 

  Some action sequences were great (the CGI was very good too), but they get lost in everything.

  Shoutout for being filmed in Montreal, I could recognize a lot of places!
