Cast Away 2000
This story displays true humanness: love, loss, survival instincts, hope. I believe it’s a story about overcoming obstacles in life by choosing to keep on living one day at a time. Chuck Nolan shows us his purity through apologizing for being on the plane, to Wilson for not being able to rescue him, fulfilling the package orders in the end. His perspective changes to gratitude and optimism for his future after enduring such extreme conditions. Cried multiple times and now one of my favorites. Tom Hanks shows us yet again why he’s one of the greats. P.S. Nice ass Kelly
